This old house
The Judge Joseph Holt House is shown here before any repair and rehabilitation took place. This is the way Susan Dyer saw it some 12 years ago.

‘Taps’ on tap
Baltimore’s Federal City Brass will be among the drum and bugle corps who’ll be performing at the Coronets and Cannons Civil War Sesquicentennial Music
Festival in Frankfort Sept. 1-4. Jari Villaneuva (front row, center), the foremost expert on Taps and the group’s drum major, will be featured in a Sept. 2
performance. The event is sponsored by the City of Frankfort’s Department of Park, Recreation and Historic Sites.
Lincoln look
Floyd County Attorney Eric Conn is a great fan of historic statues, so much so that he recently had a replica of the Lincoln Memorial reproduced and placed
in a parking lot near his Stanville office.
